Narrative is central to these pieces, with ambiguity playing a leading role when interpreting the suggested story. Inspired by Cindy Sherman’s Untitled Film Stills and Mac Adams’ Mysteries series, I have attempted to create enigmatic pieces that leaves the viewer questioning the in-between narrative. I have aimed to create cinematic imagery that appears as though taken from a film, using light, facial expressions, camera angle and composition to form the cinematic language within the photographs.
